New Employers

Do you have an employee who wants you to contribute their Superannuation Guarantee (SG) contributions to ESSSuper but you haven’t dealt with us before?  No problem, we’re here to help.

First things first, if you’re not an emergency services or recognised Government sector employer with eligible members, then the contributions can only be made to our Accumulation Plan. 

Most of our members have a defined benefit plan but all members have the option to set up an Accumulation Plan account as well.

Getting Started...

1. Check that your employee has an Accumulation Plan Product Disclosure Statement which includes the Accumulation Plan Application Form.
2. Check that your employee has completed an Choice of Fund Form.
3. You will need to complete Section B of their completed Choice of Fund form and the “Employer Registration for,” at the back of the Choice of Fund form available on the link in step 2 above.
4. You will also need to complete the “Employer Use Only” section of the ESSSuper Accumulation Plan Application Form.
5. Post the Accumulation Plan Application Form to us and keep the ATO Standard Choice Form for your own records.
6. Once we have received the Employer Registration form we will write to you to provide you with the BPAY payment instructions.
7. We will write to your employee to confirm that we have set up their Accumulation Plan.

Making contributions: 

The easiest way to contribute is by BPAY. Once we receive your registration form we will write to you to confirm your registration number and the BPAY details for your employee/s.

If you pay via BPAY we do not require any additional information from you. No remittance slips! Just make the BPAY payment and you are finished.

If you are unable to pay via BPAY please contact us and we will provide you with an account number into which you can make payments via EFT.

If paying via EFT we will need to receive remittance details. These should be submitted by email to contributions@esssuper.com.au
