Our members are important to us, and as their employers, you are too. We recognise that our fund can seem more complicated than some, so we offer employers a wide range of services to help make super easy.
As a participating ESSSuper employer, you are assigned a skilled professional Superannuation Consultant who will work with you to assist with your superannuation obligations.

Our employer administration systems take the hassle out of managing your superannuation obligations.
State super employers have access to our Cessation Online facility and our secure web based exchange system EmployerDirect that allows:
- viewing of ESSSuper members’ super records,
- submission of member and employer contribution payments,
- updating of member and employer information,
- running of up to the minute employee data reports.
The EmployerDirect homepage also provides you with access to our employer manual, employer forms and employer newsletters.
Currently, emergency services employers simply send contributions via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) along with emailing a spreadsheet of member details. During the next year, these employers will be gradually moved onto the EmployerDirect system.
We also provide a range of education and support services for your staff.

We also keep you up-to-date on latest fund developments and changes in superannuation through ESSSuper Employer News, our quarterly newsletter to employers.
Most members can obtain instant estimates at any time of the day by using our online facility via Members Online or alternatively by calling our Member Contact Centre.
Experienced Member Education Consultants can visit your workplace for one-on-one interviews with your staff, or conduct group seminars on super and the options available to members.

Our Member Education Consultants host a range of free member seminars. We also provide individual information to help your employees plan for their retirement.
Members can view the list of upcoming seminars and register their interest via this website.
ESSSuper has ‘partnered’ with a licensed financial planning organisation, Industry Fund Financial Planning (IFFP), to provide members with fee for service financial advice (commission free). The Financial Planners are able to provide you with a range of services that take into account your specific financial needs and objectives.
Members can make an appointment with a Financial Planner by contacting the ESSSuper Member Contact Centre.
We recommend that members meet with a Member Education Consultant before making an appointment with a Financial Planner.
