Current crediting rate

Crediting rates vary month-by-month and depend on your investment mix. Here’s how we’ve performed for you lately.

The following shows monthly crediting rates and financial year to date crediting rates for the state super defined benefit funds, Accumulation Plan , Beneficiary Account and the Working Income Stream and Retirement Income Stream. These rates are net of tax and fees. Rates are declared by the close of business on the 5th business/working day of the following month (excluding public holidays).

How do we calculate crediting rates?

Crediting rates are calculated and compounded monthly. The rates credited to a member's account are the actual monthly earning rates compounded for the chosen investment options after deducting tax and investment management fees, where applicable. All rates from 1 July 2009 do not include ongoing administration fees, these fees are deducted directly from members' accounts.
