It’s no surprise the last few years have been a rollercoaster of returns. But it’s important to remember that super is about long-term benefits.
The following tables show crediting rates (net of taxes and costs not deducted directly from you account) for the previous five financial years ending 30 June and the 3 and 5 year compound averages.
From 1 July 2009 for Beneficiary Account and Income Streams the crediting rates do not include Administration fees as these are now deducted directly from your account balance. This change has also been reflected in the three and five year compound average rates, i.e. these long term rates show one year without administration fees and two and four years (respectively) with administration fees included.
