Antarctica and beyond!

The attached photo is where we went within six months of my wife's retirement from teaching - I had retired from teaching two years previously.

It is the Skua Glacier in Amelia Fjiord, off the southern tip of Chile. We had just been on a 14 day tour of Antartica and we were on the way to Santiago.

This cruise was the culmination of almost three months 'on the road' as we had already spent time in Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Finland, England, Czech Republic, Spain, Peru and Argentina before we even got there. The trip was still not yet over, as we then went to New Zealand before finishing off with time in Cairns before we returned home.

Since then we have had an East African safari to seven countries, been to Norfolk Island, cruised the Rhine-Danube, tromped around Scotland and the Lakes District, spent time in London and cruised around both islands of New Zealand.

Retirement is great!!
