ESSSuper’s Retirement Income Strategy is a plan to help members optimise their current and future retirement outcomes.
As a profit-for-members fund, we believe the earlier we can get members to engage with their super and access advice, the better off they’ll be in retirement. Our mission is to enable members to have a comfortable standard of retirement that aligns with the benchmarks set out by the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA). Our Retirement Income Strategy has three objectives:
- Maximise member retirement income
- Minimise risk associated with providing income in retirement
- Maximise flexibility of access to funds
