CEO Mark Puli bids farewell to ESSSuper

ESSSuper - 08 Dec 2021

ESSSuper's CEO of 10 years, Mark Puli, has resigned from his position effective 3 January 2022.

We would like to thank Mark for his exceptional leadership of the Emergency Services Superannuation Scheme (ESSSuper) and for all he has achieved over his term.

Everyone at ESSSuper remains focussed on protecting the wealth and retirement dreams of our members. We will complete our digital transformation project in early 2022, making it even easier for members to manage their super online and enabling us to concentrate on delivering exceptional member service and the best possible superannuation outcomes. We are excited about the future.

The Board has appointed David Daley as Acting CEO while we search for Mark's replacement. David is currently General Manager of Member Engagement at ESSSuper and is an experienced and highly capable senior leader. We are very confident that he will lead the organisation with great proficiency over the next few months.

We will provide an update on our search for the next CEO in due course. In the meantime, we wish you a very happy festive season.
